Elite Projects Management Agency is the continuator of Elite Music cultural brand established in 2001 by the art manager Maria Kondova. Elite Music has become a leading cultural brand for the past two decades, in the independent sector of music field and music performances in Varna with over 120 concert projects and other cultural initiatives.
Affirming a modern business model of management of cultural and artistic activities, the organization stimulates international exchange in the field of music and performs a wide partnership network of state and municipal cultural institutes, Bulgarian and foreign producers and impresario agencies, corporate contributors, sponsors, advertisers and other non-governmental organizations.
The main purpose of the agency is the growth of local audiences by expanding their age and social reach, as well as saturating the cultural calendar of the city with production of high quality music outside the traditionally high summer festival season.
Lots of significant musical events have taken place over the years, which will remain memorable for the Varna audience. Among them are the premiere tours in the city of famous world stars such as Nigel Kennedy, Richard Clayderman, Roby Lakatos, the Baroque chamber ensemble I Musici di Roma, the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields chamber orchestra, La Scala di Milano chamber orchesrta (Cameristi della Scala), Rastrelli Cello Quartet, Berlin Philharmonic String Quintet and others.
The agency stimulates the creation of new Bulgarian art, accomplishes the premiere performance of new Bulgarian musical works by both established and young authors, provides a prestigious podium for professional performance of promising young Bulgarian players. The most significant cultural initiative named European Music Festival Varna under the sign of Elite Music cultural brand was founded in 2004 on the idea of Maria Kondova in partnership with Cantus Firmus. The festival is held annually in spring and with its rich genre spectrum and the high quality concert program becomes an attractive cultural event for Varna residents and the numerous guests of the city.
